Description

Matuzumab biosimilar is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody against human EGFR. As it only has approximately 10% murine origin it has limited immunogenicity, and being IgG1 it is capable of inducing antibody dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC).Matuzumab biosimilar is produced in mammalian (Chinese hamster ovary) cell culture.


Biological Activity
Matuzumab (anti-ERBB1/ EGFR / HER1) is a humanized anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) monoclonal antibody that blocks EGFR activation, downstream signalling, and inhibits tumor growth.
